A 21-year-old man, Ali Mahmood Ahmed Abdullah Ghaleb, was arrested in Norwalk, Connecticut, for allegedly selling cannabis products without a license, some of which tested positive for fentanyl, according to the Norwalk Police Department. The arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into smoke shops operating without proper licensing.
Ghaleb faces multiple charges, including possession with intent to sell over 1 kilogram of cannabis, possession of various amounts of cannabis, sale of narcotic substances, and use of drug paraphernalia. Police reported that many of the seized products tested positive for fentanyl.
During the search, authorities confiscated 3.5 pounds of cannabis flower and gummies.
