Get A Press Pass For A NECANN Cannabis Event

This form is to request a press pass to one of NECANN’s cannabis conventions.

Please note: Press passes are intended for active  members of recognized press/industry influencers such as reporters, journalists, broadcasters, hosts, etc. that have a history of covering the cannabis industry and have been assigned to cover the convention. Requests from Publishers, Editors, Marketing, Sales, Sr. Executives, PR Firms, Agencies, company blogs, etc. are typically not approved.

 Please fill out all fields below, carefully read the conditions and check the box confirming you agree to conditions in order to be considered.  You will be asked to choose which convention you are requesting, please note that you must fill out a separate form for each convention.  Due to the large volume of submissions, you will only be notified if your request is approved. Approvals typically sent out about 4 weeks prior to the event.  NECANN reserves the right to reject any request at our own discretion.  

Agreement terms:


Submission of your request and acceptance and use of NECANN® events credentials constitutes your agreement to abide by the terms and conditions contained herein. Failure to abide by the terms and conditions will result in loss of your media credentials for these events and future NECANN® events. You agree that you have read and understand all NECANN Media/Press policies and guidelines. You agree that you will abide by all NECANN Media/Press policies and guidelines. You attest that all information you have provided is complete, true and accurate. If approved, you agree to notify NECANN of any change in your information no later than 30 days prior to the event start date or risk de-authorization of your Media/Press Pass.
Overview: NECC Expos, LLC (NECANN®) may issue media and photo credentials (“media credentials”) to cover NECANN® events (the “Events”). NECANN® will select the media outlets at its sole discretion. To request media credentials, complete and submit the NECANN® request form by the deadline. No requests will be accepted after the deadline has passed. Only individuals who are approved for media credentials will receive an acceptance e-mail within 2 weeks prior to the event. If granted credentials, you will be able to pick them up at any pre-registration ticket window on the days of the event.
Media: To qualify as media, you must prove employment/ownership as a media content producer. Staff reporters and photographers, and freelance journalist on assignment for an established print or broadcast media outlet must provide written verification of an assignment to cover the Event. Photographers: Preference is given to photographers who have attended previous NECANN® events and have shared their photos with NECANN®, and/or those with experience covering business trade shows or the cannabis industry. If you have been issued media credentials, you have a limited, non-exclusive, and nontransferable license to take and use photographs of the Event, but not to imply any endorsement or relationship between a third-party and NECANN® . Images taken at NECANN of Exhibitors, attendees, staff or programming will not be used or sold for advertising or commercial use of any kind, without the express written consent of NECANN. Images may be used in news or editorial context in print, digital or broadcast media without prior notice to NECANN; all images used will be clearly identified as taken at NECANN with a link to necann.com prominently displayed on the webpage. All photos taken by you may be used by NECANN in digital and print media, advertising and other similar manners. Rights, Restrictions and Obligations:
NECANN® may restrict or prohibit the use of any equipment by anyone with a media pass at any time, at its sole discretion. You may not use, distribute, exhibit, reproduce, adapt, display, or publish any audio or visual accounts of the Event(s), other than in the manner described below. Nothing in this media credentials agreement authorizes or allows you to violate any trademark, copyright, or other proprietary right of NECANN®. All credentialed media pass holders are required to have their NECANN® pass and a form of ID on them at all times during the convention. Credentials and passes are non-transferable; you may not give or loan your credentials or pass to another person for any reason. Credentials do not guarantee you unrestricted access to all areas. Access to backstage and back of exhibitor display areas, exhibitor and speaker lounges, and the show office are off-limits to all credential holders. NECANN® staff reserves the right to designate any additional event or area as “closed to media” at any time during the event. You will make every effort to avoid obstructing the view or impacting the safety of any attendee, exhibitor, staff, and/or other attendees of Events. Anyone granted media credentials is expected to behave in a professional manner while at NECANN® . Inappropriate behavior or mis-use of the credentials will result in immediate loss of media credentials, removal from the venue, and denial of credentials and/or admission to future NECANN® events. NECANN® staff reserves the right to revoke media credentials at any time at their own discretion, and without obligation. Assumption of Risk and Release: You assume all risk and danger incidental to the event, as well as any risk or danger reasonably foreseeable while on the grounds of the venue, and you release NECANN® , its employees, members, directors, officers, host sites, title sponsors, participating exhibitors, volunteers, assigns, and all agents thereof from any and all liabilities resulting from injuries or personal property loss occurring before, during or after actual Event, or while otherwise at the Event venue or any associated NECANN® events. You jointly and severally indemnify, defend, and hold NECANN® (and its officers, directors, and representatives) harmless from and against any and all claims, actions, damages, liabilities, costs or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs of suit/arbitration) arising out of or in connection with any act or omission by you, including, without limitation, your breach of any term of this agreement. With respect to any claim that might give rise to your liability as an indemnitor, NECANN® will (a) have the right to fully participate in the litigation of such claim with counsel selected by you or your organization, and approved by NECANN® , at no expense to NECANN® ; and (b) not be obligated, without its consent, to participate in any settlement of such claim.
