Nick Collins, PE, LEED AP, is a Senior Engineer for ERS and a professional engineer licensed in Maine. His areas of expertise include the monitoring and verification of energy efficiency projects and the analysis of energy efficiency and demand-limiting measures in commercial and industrial facilities. Nick has performed ground- breaking analysis of indoor cannabis cultivation facilities through extensive metering and analysis for Boulder County and National Grid. He has also performed design reviews and energy efficiency assessments for cannabis cultivation facilities as well as other indoor horticultural facilities for several major utilities. Nick has worked in construction management on a diverse array of commercial and institutional projects including Gillete Stadium, Terminal A at Logan Airport, and the Walker Art Building restoration and renovation at Bowdoin College. Nick lives in Maine with his wife and two daughters and holds a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
